Heal Yourself Like an Occultist
The Trivium completely changed my life and now it’s your turn to unlock the power of esoteric knowledge and occult teachings using philosophy paired with the celestial body of the moon. By integrating the principles of the Trivium into your personal healing journey, you can cultivate self-awareness, express and process your emotions effectively, and transform negative thought patterns. And by using the moon (Yesod in the Tree of Life and an important aspect in your astrological chart), you will begin to uncover the attachments to the ego and so much more!
Here are some tips to get you started with the Trivium.
Grammar (Understanding and Knowledge):
Learn and acquire knowledge ~ Engage in reading, research, and learning to expand your understanding of different subjects and perspectives. This can involve studying various disciplines, reading books on personal growth and self-development, or exploring philosophical and psychological concepts.
Analyze your thoughts and beliefs: Develop awareness of your current thought patterns and beliefs. Reflect on whether they are serving you or holding you back. Use the principles of logic to critically evaluate and challenge any negative or limiting beliefs that may be hindering your personal growth.
Rhetoric (Expression and Communication):
Self-reflection ~ Engage in journaling or self-reflection exercises to express and articulate your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Writing can help clarify your thoughts, identify recurring patterns, and gain insights into yourself.
Seek support and communicate: Share your thoughts and experiences with trusted individuals, such as friends, family, or a therapist. Effective communication allows for self-expression, receiving feedback, gaining new perspectives, and fostering personal growth.
Logic (Reasoning and Critical Thinking):
Analyze and challenge thoughts ~ Use logical reasoning to evaluate your thoughts and assumptions. Identify cognitive biases, fallacious thinking, and distorted perceptions that may be limiting your growth. Develop critical thinking skills to question and reframe unhelpful thoughts.
Embrace rationality and objectivity: Strive to base your beliefs and decisions on evidence, reason, and logical analysis. Engage in healthy skepticism and open-mindedness when examining ideas and information.
Develop problem-solving skills ~ Apply logical thinking to identify solutions to challenges and obstacles you encounter. Break down complex problems into manageable components and evaluate potential solutions systematically.
Remember, transformation of the mind is a continuous process that requires self-reflection, discipline, and practice. The Trivium principles can serve as a framework for developing self-awareness, effective communication, and critical thinking skills that can aid in personal growth and mind transformation.
