Imagine watching a movie of your life, where you see yourself on the screen, experiencing emotions, challenges, and triumphs as if it’s all happening in real-time. It feels real because it was real.
But what if I told you that what you’re watching is simply a reflection of old thoughts, and what you perceive as your “present life” is actually a memory simulation?

This revelation holds the key to unlocking profound change in your life.
What is a Memory Simulation?
A "memory simulation" refers to the idea that your current reality is not a fixed truth but a reflection of past experiences, thoughts, and beliefs.
Essentially, your mind operates like a projector, replaying scenarios and circumstances that stem from subconscious programming.
These programs, formed by repeated thoughts, emotions, and perceptions over time, create a simulation—a mental and emotional framework—that feels so real you mistake it for absolute reality.
What you experience “today” is simply the manifestation of patterns your mind has held onto from the past.
This simulation works by continually reinforcing what your mind has accepted as true.
Here’s how it works:
If you’ve repeatedly thought, “I’m not good enough” or “Success is hard to achieve,” your subconscious adopts these as core beliefs and projects a reality that confirms them.
This is what you are seeing in your current life/reality.
It filters your perceptions, choices, and opportunities through this lens, ensuring the simulation plays out consistently.
However, the key revelation is this: just as these old thoughts created your current simulation, new thoughts can create an entirely different one.
By consciously shifting your mindset and overriding past beliefs, you disrupt the old patterns and begin building a new simulation aligned with your desires.
This is how a “NEW” reality for yourself is created.
+ This understanding reveals the profound potential for change. When you stop identifying with the simulation as your unchangeable reality, you reclaim your power as its creator.
+ You are no longer confined to the narrative of your past but can write a new story, one rooted in the truth of your limitless potential.
The simulation is not your destiny—it is a canvas for transformation, waiting for you to rewrite it with conscious intent.

Your desired life can be projected onto the screen of your reality, simply by making The Great Work a DAILY practice.
While you wait for that issue to drop, here are five critical points to help you shift from being stuck in repetitive patterns to creating a life that aligns with your highest desires:
1. Recognize Your Life as a Reflection of Past Thoughts
What you see and experience now is the result of thoughts and beliefs you held in the past. Your current reality is not set in stone—it’s simply the culmination of your past mental programming. Once you realize that your reality is a memory simulation, you can take control of the script and rewrite it.
For example:
Let’s say you’ve always struggled with financial stability. Growing up, you might have internalized beliefs like “Money is hard to come by” or “I’ll never be wealthy because people like me aren’t meant to have abundance.”
These thoughts became your subconscious programming, shaping how you approached opportunities, perceived your self-worth, and handled money. As a result, your current financial reality reflects these deeply ingrained beliefs, replaying a “memory simulation” of scarcity.
+ Now, recognizing that your current financial struggles are a reflection of those old thoughts is the first step to transformation.
This awareness allows you to stop identifying with scarcity as a fixed truth and start rewriting the script.
By replacing limiting beliefs with empowering ones—such as “I am worthy of abundance” or “Opportunities flow to me with ease”—you begin to reprogram your mind. Over time, your actions, choices, and perceptions shift, creating a new simulation where financial stability and prosperity become your lived experience.
This example highlights the power of understanding that your reality is a reflection of your thoughts, not a permanent condition. The moment you recognize this, you gain the ability to take control and create a new, aligned reality.

2. Change Your Current Thoughts to Change Your Future Reality
Your present thoughts are the seeds of tomorrow’s reality. By shifting your mindset and aligning your thoughts with your desires, you replace the old memory simulation with a new one. This transformation doesn’t happen instantly, but with consistent effort, your reality begins to reflect your new inner world.
For example:
Imagine someone who feels stuck in a cycle of unhealthy relationships. In the past, they might have held beliefs like “I’m not lovable,” or “I always attract partners who take me for granted.” These thoughts shaped their self-concept and influenced their choices, leading them to unconsciously attract or accept relationships that mirrored these beliefs.
Now, they decide to change their current thoughts to create a better future.
+ Instead of replaying the narrative of unworthiness, they begin affirming new beliefs like “I am deserving of love and respect” and “I attract healthy, supportive relationships.”
They take small, consistent steps to align their actions with these beliefs, such as setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and recognizing red flags early on.
At first, their external reality may not change immediately—it takes time for the new programming to take root. But over weeks and months, they notice a shift. They start meeting people who align with their new values, and their relationships become more fulfilling.
This transformation is the result of their persistent effort to replace old, limiting thoughts with empowering ones, proving that their current mindset can reshape their future reality.

3. Understand the Principle of Mentalism: The Universe is Mental
In Hermetic Philosophy, it is said that “The All is Mind.” This means that everything in existence originates in thought.
What you desire already exists in another realm of possibility (via Divine Intelligence or the Ain Soph Aur in Qabalah); the only barrier is the delay caused by your current beliefs. Learning to harness the power of your mind allows you to collapse this delay and bring your desires into being.
For Example:
Consider an artist who dreams of creating a thriving career from their passion for painting. They believe that success as an artist is nearly impossible without connections or a “lucky break,” so their reality reflects this mindset—they struggle to sell their work and feel stuck in obscurity.
When they begin to understand the principle of Mentalism, they realize that their external circumstances are a projection of their inner beliefs.
+ If they shift their thinking to align with the belief that “My art is valuable, and the right people are drawn to it,” they can create a new reality.
With this understanding, they visualize their success daily, imagine collectors praising their work, and start aligning their actions with these beliefs—networking confidently, displaying their art in new venues, and actively seeking opportunities.
Over time, the external world begins to catch up. The artist gets an unexpected feature in a local gallery, followed by a steady stream of sales and opportunities. By mastering their mental world, they tapped into the limitless possibilities of the Universe, collapsing the delay between their desire and its manifestation.
This illustrates the profound truth of Mentalism: the reality you experience originates in your thoughts, and by consciously choosing empowering ones, you can shape your world.
4. Learn the Mechanics of Your Inner Universe
Your inner world operates like a complex matrix of subconscious programming. To change your external reality, you must first understand how your “inner universe” works. This is the essence of The Great Work—a journey of self-discovery where you rewrite outdated mental software and align your subconscious mind with your highest truth.
For example:
Imagine someone who feels perpetually undervalued at work, consistently overlooked for promotions and opportunities. On the surface, they might blame external factors like an unfair boss or office politics.
However, upon deeper self-reflection, they realize their inner world is governed by subconscious programming, such as the belief “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t deserve to be in a leadership position.”
To change their external reality, they embark on The Great Work, which involves diving into their inner matrix to identify and rewrite these outdated mental scripts.
+ They begin practicing self-awareness through journaling, meditation, and affirmations, challenging the limiting beliefs that have held them back.
+ They work on building confidence by focusing on their achievements, setting clear intentions for growth, and visualizing themselves thriving in a leadership role.
As their subconscious mind begins to align with their highest Truth—that they are capable and deserving—their external reality shifts. They start speaking up more in meetings, taking initiative, and exuding a confidence that others notice.
Eventually, they receive the promotion they once believed was out of reach. This transformation illustrates how understanding and reprogramming the inner universe can lead to profound changes in the outer world.
Basically, your newfound self awareness begins the process of pushing through energetic barriers (limiting beliefs), so that you can continue down your pathway on the Tree of Life — eventually making it to Malkuth, which is your physical reality.
Remember: Your life is the reflection of PAST thoughts and beliefs. So it will take “time” for the new reality to show-up in the physical reality. Make sense?
5. Shift from Belief to Gnosis
Beliefs are not truths—they are perceptions your mind accepts as real. True transformation comes from gnosis, or direct knowing. When you transcend mere belief and embody a deeper understanding of your creative power, change becomes instant. You stop identifying with circumstances and begin actively designing your reality.
For example:
Imagine someone who has struggled with chronic fatigue for years. They believe their condition is unchangeable, often thinking, “This is just how my body works; I’ll always feel this way.”
This belief shapes their reality—they avoid activities they love, rely on quick-fix energy boosters, and feel stuck in a cycle of exhaustion.
One day, they decide to take a deeper approach and investigate their body-mind connection (The Great Work).
+ Through self-reflection and experimentation, they have a moment of gnosis: they discover that their fatigue is linked to a pattern of poor sleep hygiene and unprocessed emotional stress.
This isn’t just a new idea they read or heard—it’s a direct experience of understanding as they notice how their body feels more energized after a night of intentional rest and a journaling session to process emotions.
With this knowing, they stop identifying as a “chronically fatigued person” and start aligning their actions with their newfound understanding.
They commit to a consistent sleep schedule, incorporate mindfulness practices, and adjust their diet to support sustained energy. Over time, their health improves significantly.
This shift from merely believing they could feel better to knowing what their body needs—and acting on it—transforms their reality. It’s not about wishing or hoping; it’s about embodying the truth that change is possible and taking empowered action.
This is how we live our desired reality and STOP dwelling on our memory simulation, which is just your future self experiencing your outdated thoughts.
